Welcome to Tourfo.com. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, and applications. By accessing or using Tourfo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. What the Site Does
Tourfo is an information directory platform, NOT a booking platform. We provide:
- Information about tourist places and attractions across all 64 districts of Bangladesh
- Directory listings of accommodations (hotels, resorts, cottages, houseboats, etc.)
- User-generated reviews and ratings
- Travel guides and blog content
- Contact information for accommodations and tourist services
Important: Tourfo stores and displays public information about accommodations and tourist places. We do NOT handle bookings, reservations, payments, or any financial transactions.
2. User Accounts & Behavior
Account Registration
Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Prohibited Activities
Users are prohibited from:
- Posting spam or promotional content
- Submitting fake or fraudulent reviews
- Harassing other users or accommodation owners
- Using the platform for any illegal purpose
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Account Suspension
Tourfo reserves the complete right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
3. Reviews & User Content
Review Moderation
All reviews are subject to moderation and approval by our administrators before being published. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any reviews that are fake, offensive, or inappropriate.
Content Ownership
Users retain ownership of the content they submit. However, by posting content on Tourfo, you grant us the right to display, modify, or remove this content at our discretion in connection with operating our services.
Copyright Compliance
Users cannot post copyrighted content they do not own. If copyrighted content is posted without proper authorization, the user will be solely responsible for any legal consequences.
4. Information Accuracy
- All accommodation-related information comes from owners, third parties, Facebook pages, or websites.
- Tourfo strives to keep this information accurate but cannot guarantee 100% accuracy.
- After official publication, accommodation owners are responsible for updating their own information regarding prices, availability, and other details.
- Users are advised to directly contact accommodations to verify information before making any decisions.
5. No Liability
- Tourfo is NOT liable for bad experiences at listed places.
- Tourfo is NOT responsible for inaccurate or inconsistent listings or information.
- Tourfo does NOT guarantee the quality or safety of any tourist place or accommodation.
- Since Tourfo does not act as an intermediary for communication with accommodations, users deal directly with accommodations at their own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tourfo and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services or interactions with listed accommodations.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on Tourfo, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design, is the property of Tourfo and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Users may not copy, scrape, reproduce, or distribute our content without explicit written permission from Tourfo.
7. Third-Party Links
Tourfo may contain links to external websites such as Google Maps, accommodation websites, Facebook pages, and Instagram profiles.
Since these links are collected from public information sources of various resorts, cottages, and houseboats (such as Facebook pages and websites), Tourfo is not responsible for the content or availability of these external links.
8. Changes to Terms
Tourfo reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of the site after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

11. Information Approval (Beta Phase)
During our beta/testing phase, public information about various resorts, cottages, and houseboats has been collected. We plan to obtain permission from all property owners before the official public launch of this site.
If any resort, cottage, or houseboat owner objects to their listing before permission is obtained or during the development process, Tourfo is obligated to delete the specific information upon request.
Some listings may contain partial demo/placeholder information during the testing phase, which will be corrected and updated with accurate information after discussion and permission from the respective owners.
By using Tourfo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
